Porcelain skinned pin-up girls with ruby red lips are back in style along with the fashions that movie sirens of decades past made famous. Thanks greatly in part to AMC's hit television series, &lt;a href="http://www.amctv.com/originals/madmen/"&gt;Mad Men&lt;/a&gt;, women are rediscovering a nostalgic kind of sexy. Before a big night out on the town, I love to watch Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell wiggle their way through "&lt;a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0045810/"&gt;Gentlemen Prefer Blondes&lt;/a&gt;" as I channel my inner bombshell. In the good ol’ days you needed a little bit of luck, a little bit of math and a lot of patience to “snag” a treasury once it reached the magical number of 333. It was fun, it was exciting, but it was also very frustrating at times. You couldn’t change your mind and once your chose your title the game was over. You were stuck. No wonder there were so many treasuries entitled “?????” because that was a nicer way of typing out “What the *Bleep* Am I going to Call This?”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I also found it very sad when a treasury expired and disappeared from the Etsy universe. I carefully plan out my designs, thoughtfully selecting each artist to compliment the theme and overall picture. I spend time on my treasuries. I care about them. I don’t like to see them vanish after a few, short days.&amp;nbsp; Treasuries are another form of artistic expression and I’m happy to see they now have a permanent home (other than here on my blog).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This new treasury system is fun in a different way than the previous version. While you no longer feel like you’ve hit a small jackpot, you have a lot more control over your design and how it gets viewed. Before you were allowed to create only one treasury at a time - and only one - even if you have multiple shops. Now you are allowed to curate as much as you like and showcase them with just one link.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/TFxBRvIIDaI/AAAAAAAAALI/ZJ9XRJ6tiaY/s1600/volucsiouslogo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="200" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/TFxBRvIIDaI/AAAAAAAAALI/ZJ9XRJ6tiaY/s200/volucsiouslogo.jpg" width="113" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;One of the biggest additions is the ability to promote your designs through social media outlets. The big ones like Facebook, Twitter and StumbleUpon are a simple click away. And there is incentive to use them. The more clicks, views and comments your treasury gets, the closer to the top of the list it will move which is where you want to be. You could possibly even achieve the ultimate status goal - making the front page. It’s a brilliant move on Etsy’s part. Let the users do all of the promotional work.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So here it is... My first treasury created on the new system. It’s called &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury/4c5c1bde582b6d91867f0834/the-saucy-circus"&gt;The Saucy Circus&lt;/a&gt; and it was inspired by my dear friend’s sassy, new line, &lt;a href="http://voluscious.etsy.com/"&gt;Voluscious Wear&lt;/a&gt;. Enjoy!&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-2096162594050540867?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/2096162594050540867/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2010/08/saucy-circus.html#comment-form' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/2096162594050540867'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/2096162594050540867'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2010/08/saucy-circus.html' title='The Saucy Circus'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/TFxAaCuk5jI/AAAAAAAAALA/8j29kdT1LhU/s72-c/Saucy+Circus.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-3188415768895346898</id><published>2010-08-05T18:37:00.001-07:00</published><updated>2010-08-05T18:38:58.610-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='retro'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='60s'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='treasury'/><title type='text'>Cocktails, Darling?</title><content type='html'>&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/Sq1HEVd3QPI/AAAAAAAAAIA/vrPomnOtbbI/s1600-h/33_Soiree.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/Sq1HEVd3QPI/AAAAAAAAAIA/vrPomnOtbbI/s320/33_Soiree.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;There is something so wonderfully divine about having a cocktail party. Not a hang-out-in-jeans party, but an actual get-dressed-up-and-sip-from-real-stemware kind of soiree. Something elegant and swanky. Something that &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breakfast_at_Tiffany%27s_%28film%29"&gt;Holly Golightly&lt;/a&gt; herself would attend.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm long over due to play the hostess role that I cultivated for many years before my little one arrived. Lately I've had the urge to hide the stuffed animals, put away the plastic toys and remove the miniature potties from the bathrooms – at least just for one night. I've been itching to pull out my stilettos, unpack the martini glasses and turn on a bit of &lt;a href="http://www.deanmartin.com/"&gt;Dean Martin&lt;/a&gt; for an evening reminiscent of a time long ago.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;While I contemplate actually planning this cozy cocktail event, I've designed my latest treasury, &lt;i&gt;The Soiree&lt;/i&gt;, as my inspiration and motivation. So break out the bubbly and enjoy these glamorous sellers!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The featured shops: &lt;a href="http://laralewis.etsy.com/"&gt;laralewis&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://rockzombieoldies.etsy.com/"&gt;RockZombieOldies&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://stemmefatale.etsy.com/"&gt;stemmefatale&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://makye77.etsy.com/"&gt;makye77&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://lovelyvintageetc.etsy.com/"&gt;LovelyVintageEtc&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://wheredidyougetthat.etsy.com/"&gt;wheredidyougetthat&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://retrovertigo.etsy.com/"&gt;retrovertigo&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://allunique.etsy.com/"&gt;allunique&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://lorinczi.etsy.com/"&gt;Lorinczi&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://vintagestyle101.etsy.com/"&gt;vintagestyle101&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://thevintagetreehouse.etsy.com/"&gt;thevintagetreehouse&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://ardithanngray.etsy.com/"&gt;ardithanngray&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The alternate items: &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=29209163"&gt;thepickers&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=29561557"&gt;PhoenixDoveVintage&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=30642510"&gt;retrochique&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=30756976"&gt;MarciG&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-3188415768895346898?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/3188415768895346898/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2010/08/cocktails-darling.html#comment-form' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/3188415768895346898'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/3188415768895346898'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2010/08/cocktails-darling.html' title='Cocktails, Darling?'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/Sq1HEVd3QPI/AAAAAAAAAIA/vrPomnOtbbI/s72-c/33_Soiree.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-5357559866475218980</id><published>2010-07-01T08:27:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2010-07-01T08:27:47.301-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='OnceTraveled'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='new treasury'/><title type='text'>Christmas in July</title><content type='html'>&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/TCyyYlwHMgI/AAAAAAAAAKw/UUqluq7zkds/s1600/xmasjuly_treas.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="200" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/TCyyYlwHMgI/AAAAAAAAAKw/UUqluq7zkds/s200/xmasjuly_treas.jpg" width="196" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;Etsy changed the way their treasury system works. Gone are the days of waiting anxiously with fingers perched on they keyboard as the minutes quickly count down to that magical number, 333. Now you can just create one. And they do not expire. They are my favorite flower, not just because they are the symbol of love or because I was named after them, but because they transport me to another place and time. They are rich in history, romance and of course beauty. &amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="http://melrosefields.etsy.com/"&gt;MelroseFields&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;is and incredible, rose-filled shop on Etsy. They create the most amazing, colorful dried bouquets of &lt;i&gt;real &lt;/i&gt;flowers that I've ever seen. They preserve the essence of the flower and create long lasting, gorgeous arrangements that live on forever. Here is an example of their exquisite rose diffuser bouquets.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/TBEFXGUCTVI/AAAAAAAAAKg/ObonZvznGuc/s1600/pinkrosering.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="199" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/TBEFXGUCTVI/AAAAAAAAAKg/ObonZvznGuc/s200/pinkrosering.jpg" width="200" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;More roses... My favorite pale pink, rose shimmer ring just sold from my &lt;a href="http://miarosina.blogspot.com/"&gt;MiaRosina&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;shop. I almost&amp;nbsp;selfishly&amp;nbsp;took it out of the store a while back because the petals turned out perfectly and I just loved looking at it. In my pre-mommy days, New Year’s Eve was our designated event and we never disappointed our guests. For me, planning the party was just as much fun than the party itself. &amp;nbsp; I love diving into a special theme, with decorations, food and any other creative touches to make it a memorable occasion. Now that I’m a mom, New Year’s Eve is a thing of the past and you could say I’m having party-planning withdrawals.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our daughter’s third birthday is fast approaching and it’s the perfect reason to revive my bash-throwing skills. &amp;nbsp; For me to pull this off, it would require stellar organizational skills - something I seem to be lacking these days. With kids, moms, dads, grandparents and lots of goodie bags to prep, I needed an exact head count of who’s coming. And since I have an artistic side, I was also in search of a customizable program that allowed me to design my own invitation. One that was classy, ad free and user friendly for both myself and my guests. I wanted something that felt special because this party &lt;i&gt;is &lt;/i&gt;special. And then I found &lt;a href="http://pingg.com/"&gt;Pingg.com&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/TAvPJDqo1iI/AAAAAAAAAKQ/ngilS5RZrNs/s1600/pinggpluss.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/TAvPJDqo1iI/AAAAAAAAAKQ/ngilS5RZrNs/s320/pinggpluss.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;Pingg has everything I could hope for in an invitation site and much more. It allowed me to upload my own artwork or choose from thousands of other beautifully designed invitations. Pingg also gives you loads of choices for total customization for your event’s needs. Their free version contains unobtrusive advertising and all of the organizational bells and whistles. For an extra touch of class, a $10 upgrade to &lt;a href="http://www.pingg.com/info/products_and_features#feature-pingg-plus"&gt;Pingg Plus&lt;/a&gt; will deliver your beautiful event invitation in an online envelope and your website is kept completely ad free.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In addition to online, Pingg Pluss allows you to send actual hard copies of your invitations through the regular mail system as well. You have the choice of sending to every guest or to only a select few. While this can get a bit pricey ($1.50 per invite), it is the perfect solution for those rare folks who are not digitally connected (like the grandparents) or for elegant soirees such as weddings or bar mitzvahs. I also mailed myself a hard copy for a keepsake item. The quality is beautiful and each invite comes with an online RSVP code.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pingg’s total customization is incredible for both small get-togethers or large gatherings. They are linked to &lt;a href="http://www.facebook.com/"&gt;Facebook&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.twitter.com/"&gt;Twitter&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;and &lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/"&gt;Flickr&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;so if you are planning a public event you can easily broadcast your party through social media outlets. You also have the option to make your event searchable on the web. You can opt to use their included SEO service or you can select to keep your party information completely private. You may also include donations if you are hosting a charity, organize pot luck items, include a gift registry and fund collections.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Through your designated event web page, Pingg allows you to interact with your guests and organize your event in several ways. Visit here for some of the &lt;a href="http://www.pingg.com/info/products_and_features"&gt;many helpful hosting tools&lt;/a&gt; and features.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pingg has really have thought of everything - including downloadable charts of who’s attending and party planning articles by &lt;a href="http://www.marthastewart.com/"&gt;Martha Stewart&lt;/a&gt;. &amp;nbsp; In addition to party events, Pingg offers free ecards, save-the-date, thank yous, get well and sympathy cards as a beautiful online alternative to traditional mailers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The decorations, food and cake are all up to me, but thanks to Pingg I have an organized, beautifully designed party planning tool that is fun to use and memorable for my guests. I’m so excited about this discovery that 2010 might be the year we break out the champagne and ring in the new year the way we used to in our pre-parenting days. Now, if they&amp;nbsp;could&amp;nbsp;only help me stay up past midnight...&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-5649983075572126116?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/5649983075572126116/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2010/06/i-love-throwing-good-party.html#comment-form' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/5649983075572126116'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/5649983075572126116'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2010/06/i-love-throwing-good-party.html' title='Pingg.com - Elegant Online Invitations'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/TAvON5hAk_I/AAAAAAAAAKI/cb6uVUweX6U/s72-c/pingglogo.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-3743251694782350970</id><published>2010-05-25T08:34:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2010-05-25T08:51:17.788-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='vampire'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='treasury west'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='Mia Rosina'/><title type='text'>Vampin' It Up</title><content type='html'>&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/S_vsSL7KanI/AAAAAAAAAKA/8PUXjROJXhI/s1600/hewhispered.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/S_vsSL7KanI/AAAAAAAAAKA/8PUXjROJXhI/s320/hewhispered.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;I have always loved the vampires. I was a fan of &lt;a href="http://www.annerice.com/"&gt;Anne Rice&lt;/a&gt; long before Brad Pitt ever assumed the role of the beautiful, tortured Louis. And Catherine Denueve couldn't have been more elegant as one of my favorite blood suckers in &lt;a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085701/"&gt;The Hunger&lt;/a&gt;. I used to swoon and sway to the sounds of &lt;a href="http://www.thesistersofmercy.com/"&gt;The Sisters of Mercy&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joy_Division"&gt;Joy Division&lt;/a&gt; and of course, &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bauhaus_%28band%29"&gt;Bauhaus&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp; I have always loved the mystery of the vampire long before Hot Topic made it trendy and long before they ever *gasp* sparkled. Heck, I remember when &lt;a href="http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Homepage.jsp"&gt;Hot Topic&lt;/a&gt; first opened in the mall. And we weren't happy about it either.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Flash forward to present day. I've traded in my patent leather stilettos for a cute pair of sensible wedges. My living room is my new dance floor and the sounds of &lt;a href="http://tv.disney.go.com/playhouse/mickeymouseclubhouse/index.html"&gt;Mickey Mouse&lt;/a&gt; and his friends are the DJs. My three-year-old is my dance partner and while my favorite color will always be blood red, I'm forced into a pastel world colored in pinks and purples. Don't get me wrong, I love this bright and cheery life of mine, but every now and then I like to revisit the dark side. Lucky for me vampires have made a comeback in full force.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have fallen for &lt;a href="http://www.hbo.com/true-blood/index.html#/true-blood/cast-and-crew/bill-compton/index.html"&gt;Vampire Bill&lt;/a&gt; on True Blood and I have been pleasantly surprised at how addicted I am to the &lt;a href="http://www.cwtv.com/shows/the-vampire-diaries"&gt;Vampire Diaries&lt;/a&gt;. I was actually sad after the season finale last week. What?? I have to wait months for more Salvatore brothers?&amp;nbsp; Sigh... And this is what prompted my latest Etsy treasury, &lt;i&gt;He Whispered. &lt;/i&gt;So while I wait for &lt;a href="http://www.hbo.com/true-blood/index.html#/true-blood/cast-and-crew/sookie-stackhouse/index.html"&gt;Sookie Stackhouse&lt;/a&gt; and her band of handsome vamps to return for the summer, this is a little something to tide us all over.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Enjoy, sucker!&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-3743251694782350970?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/3743251694782350970/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2010/05/vampin-it-up.html#comment-form' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/3743251694782350970'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/3743251694782350970'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2010/05/vampin-it-up.html' title='Vampin&apos; It Up'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/S_vsSL7KanI/AAAAAAAAAKA/8PUXjROJXhI/s72-c/hewhispered.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-2122488036066937977</id><published>2010-05-15T16:08:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2010-05-15T16:13:32.434-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='OnceTraveled'/><title type='text'>By George I'm in a Treasury!</title><content type='html'>It's always a wonderful feeling to get an email about being featured in a treasury. Today was my lucky day and my vintage stamp pendant shop, &lt;a href="http://www.oncetraveled.com/"&gt;OnceTraveled&lt;/a&gt;, was featured in a treasury dedicated to our first President, George Washington.&amp;nbsp; The curator, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.sweetmellyjane.com/"&gt;SweetMellyJane&lt;/a&gt;, creates adorable little finger puppets, sweet knitted baby booties and other heart-warming goodies to make your home a bit happier. My pendant is in fine company of vintage valuables, upcycled items and kitschy creations. I love this unique tee featuring the &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/41642003/declaration-independance-tshirt?ref=tre-4bedd9f44d168eef8b04c4e9-15"&gt;Declaration of Independence&lt;/a&gt; by a shop called &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.nonfictiontees.com/"&gt;NonFictionTees&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp; So here it is, "By George!" A creative, patriotic treasury. Enjoy!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/S-8pRzu_stI/AAAAAAAAAJ4/Z_9e-Vf3hcU/s1600/ByGeorge.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/S-8pRzu_stI/AAAAAAAAAJ4/Z_9e-Vf3hcU/s320/ByGeorge.jpg" width="320" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-2122488036066937977?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/2122488036066937977/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2010/05/by-george-im-in-treasury.html#comment-form' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/2122488036066937977'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/2122488036066937977'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2010/05/by-george-im-in-treasury.html' title='By George I&apos;m in a Treasury!'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/S-8pRzu_stI/AAAAAAAAAJ4/Z_9e-Vf3hcU/s72-c/ByGeorge.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-1654250522013302087</id><published>2010-04-24T16:37:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2010-04-24T16:45:12.394-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='front page'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='treasury'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='Mia Rosina'/><title type='text'>L.A. I thought the older my daughter became the more time I would have to work on all of my fun projects. Nope. Instead my very talkative, demanding, creative child keeps my days filled with play dates, gym classes, ballet and Disney characters. Oh, and did I mention germs? It seems lately I have become a germ magnet picking up every nasty virus - including pneumonia - from every snotty kid that we come in contact with. It's been a real blast.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The last few months my treasury making days came to a complete standstill until yesterday when I just so happened to check in on &lt;a href="http://www.craftopolis.com/"&gt;Craftopolis&lt;/a&gt; and it just so happened to be within six minutes of a treasury opening up. Sweet. I used to plan out my treasury ideas in advance, painstakingly selecting each item for its design and theme. Not yesterday. Yesterday I went over to the local listings and quickly browsed through artists from Los Angeles.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There were so many incredible shops that this treasury was actually really easy to put together. It's like the puzzle pieces were shouting at me and within a matter of minutes &lt;i&gt;L.A. Made&lt;/i&gt; was created.&amp;nbsp; I used to email all of the artists included in my design, but again between the haze of Dayquil and the energy of my kiddo, I didn't bother. I didn't have time to bother. In fact, I nearly forgot to check in on the treasury itself.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thanks to Twitter and to &lt;a href="http://twitter.com/Atomique47"&gt;Atomique47&lt;/a&gt; who tweeted about her &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/45337494/clutch-zipper-purse-wool-felt-pacific"&gt;beautiful clutch&lt;/a&gt; being included in my treasury, I checked in. In fact, I just so happened to check in &lt;i&gt;as it made the front page of Etsy! &lt;/i&gt;So, not only did I happen to snag a treasury at just the right moment, I also happened to be online to actually view my front page in real time - in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. Sweet!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm taking it all of this "just so happened" luck as a sign that I need to make a little more time for my projects again. They are good for me and my soul. I miss them and this blog. Here's &lt;i&gt;L.A. Made&lt;/i&gt; - this one's for you, Los Angeles!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;script src="http://www.craftcult.com/vault_widget.js"&gt;&lt;/script&gt;&lt;script&gt; document.write (window.ccvault_widg.framehtml(10670,2,2,2,1,1,0)); &lt;/script&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-1654250522013302087?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/1654250522013302087/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2010/04/la-on-front-page.html#comment-form' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/1654250522013302087'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/1654250522013302087'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2010/04/la-on-front-page.html' title='L.A. The hours fly by and before I can blink, another page on the calendar has turned. It's almost time for turkey yet I am in disbelief that the year is almost over. Where did it go? Specifically where did the last month go and why haven't I updated this blog or snagged more treasuries lately? Oh yeah. It's that thing called time. That thing that I seem to be losing more and more of lately. With all of time honored clichés that I could spout off right now, I found it only fitting to create a treasury dedicated to this crazy thing that we never seem to have enough of.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So here it is… &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list.php?room_id=95325"&gt;Tick Tock&lt;/a&gt;. If you can't stop time, you might as well watch it slip by in one of these whimsical clocks created by these incredible time keeping artists: &lt;a href="http://1byliz.etsy.com/"&gt;1byliz&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://imotime.etsy.com/"&gt;IMOTIME&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://bethberg.etsy.com/"&gt;bethberg&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://finkgifts.etsy.com/"&gt;finkgifts&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://zulasurfing.etsy.com/"&gt;zulasurfing&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://mantawave.etsy.com/"&gt;MantaWave&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://starlingink.etsy.com/"&gt;StarlingInk&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;a href="http://decibelproductions.etsy.com/"&gt;DecibelProductions&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://thestapeliacompany.etsy.com/"&gt;thestapeliacompany&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://yougneek.etsy.com/"&gt;YOUgNeek&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://stjoshua.etsy.com/"&gt;StJoshua&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://quiterightslick.etsy.com/"&gt;QuiteRightSlick&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-2839888201180010783?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/2839888201180010783/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/11/i-dont-know-where-time-is-going-these.html#comment-form' title='1 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/2839888201180010783'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/2839888201180010783'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/11/i-dont-know-where-time-is-going-these.html' title='Tick, Tock...'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SwhykV9IpTI/AAAAAAAAAJg/3jnV__VeCko/s72-c/37_ticktock.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>1</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-8109370313811361179</id><published>2009-10-21T21:42:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-10-22T09:04:35.698-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='treasury west'/><title type='text'>Striped</title><content type='html'>&lt;a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/St_gw_I67xI/AAAAAAAAAJQ/spTTd0mZ9hc/s1600-h/36_striped.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/St_gw_I67xI/AAAAAAAAAJQ/spTTd0mZ9hc/s320/36_striped.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;So I finally did the impossible. I actually talked my husband into going as Elvis for Halloween. Finally - after all of these years - he's going as the King himself and I couldn't be more excited about it. I failed to convince him that the white jumpsuit Elvis is pure awesomeness, but I did manage to talk him into a tamer, less flashy version – &lt;a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050556/"&gt;Jailhouse Rock Elvis&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Surprisingly, it has been a fairly easy costume to assemble. He already has a black retro-ish jacket and black jeans so all he really needs is the striped prison shirt which I actually found with one little Google search. All that's left to finish his outfit off is a black wig with wicked side burns and that shouldn't be too difficult to find.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So this brings me to my latest treasury, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list_west.php?room_id=72828"&gt;Striped&lt;/a&gt;. I've had stripes on the brain lately since I just picked up the perfect black-and-white &lt;a href="http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Halloween/Tees/Convict-TShirt-279134.jsp"&gt;convict tee from Hot Topic&lt;/a&gt; to complete his ensemble. Not only has it been enjoyable to plan out his costume, but it also reminded me that stripes are fun and whimsical, bold and graphic – just like these incredible sellers. Enjoy! (Thank you. Thank you very much…)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The line-up: &lt;a href="http://studiomme.etsy.com/"&gt;studiomme&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://kathannah.etsy.com/"&gt;KatHannah&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://onlygooddreams.etsy.com/"&gt;onlygooddreams&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://naturevisions.etsy.com/"&gt;NatureVisions&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://zygopsyche.etsy.com/"&gt;Zygopsyche&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://h00ked.etsy.com/"&gt;h00ked&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://nakarastyle.etsy.com/"&gt;nakarastyle&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://vivikas.etsy.com/"&gt;vivikas&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://larimeloom.etsy.com/"&gt;larimeloom&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://studioleanne.etsy.com/"&gt;StudioLeanne&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://jiajiadoll.etsy.com/"&gt;jiajiadoll&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://maryjudy.etsy.com/"&gt;maryjudy&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-8109370313811361179?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/8109370313811361179/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/10/striped.html#comment-form' title='3 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/8109370313811361179'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/8109370313811361179'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/10/striped.html' title='Striped'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/St_gw_I67xI/AAAAAAAAAJQ/spTTd0mZ9hc/s72-c/36_striped.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>3</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-7155137353032112562</id><published>2009-10-16T22:42:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-10-17T09:57:15.134-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='treasury west'/><title type='text'>The Storm</title><content type='html'>&lt;a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/StlYXNqy6MI/AAAAAAAAAJI/roQ6WK2gEVY/s1600-h/35_storm.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/StlYXNqy6MI/AAAAAAAAAJI/roQ6WK2gEVY/s320/35_storm.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;I've been missing-in-action the last couple of weeks due to a lovely flu-bug that knocked me for a loop. It wasn't the swine thankfully, just a good ol' fashioned dose of ick. I am just finally getting caught up on everything that seemed to pile up under my box of Nyquil. I started having treasury withdrawals so I waited up an extra hour last night just to snag one and get myself back in the game.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The weather here in Los Angeles has been very fickle. It's been teasing us with a glimpse of fall only to yank it away and return the blasted summer heat. We had two wonderfully gloomy days that were cool enough to pull out the sweater, turn off the air conditioner and open all of the windows.&amp;nbsp; The rain came down and autumn was in there air. But that was yesterday. Today it was a painful 96 degrees in the San Fernando Valley and the a/c unit was cranking once again. 96 degrees. That’s. Not. Right.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So here's my treasury, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list_west.php?room_id=71993"&gt;The Storm&lt;/a&gt;, in honor of fall and the few sweet days we actually experienced of it. And here are the incredible artists that contributed such dark and lovely items to my rainy day treasury. Enjoy! &lt;a href="http://thelittlefox.etsy.com/"&gt;thelittlefox&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://mariterecr.etsy.com/"&gt;mariterecr&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://helenesdreams.etsy.com/"&gt;HelenesDreams&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://djvv.etsy.com/"&gt;DJVV&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://delicioushobo.etsy.com/"&gt;DeliciousHobo&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://starwillowstudio.etsy.com/"&gt;starwillowstudio&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://sewmo.etsy.com/"&gt;SewMo&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://lewfoster.etsy.com/"&gt;lewfoster&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://annaartiste.etsy.com/"&gt;AnnaArtiste&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://craftycrowvintage.etsy.com/"&gt;craftycrowvintage&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://happykatt.etsy.com/"&gt;happyKATT&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://firegypsyvintage.etsy.com/"&gt;FiregypsyVintage&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-7155137353032112562?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/7155137353032112562/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/10/storm.html#comment-form' title='1 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/7155137353032112562'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/7155137353032112562'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/10/storm.html' title='The Storm'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/StlYXNqy6MI/AAAAAAAAAJI/roQ6WK2gEVY/s72-c/35_storm.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>1</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-8884185414614279343</id><published>2009-09-26T09:48:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-09-26T12:01:39.337-07:00</updated><title type='text'>A Shining Front Page!</title><content type='html'>Making it to the front page of &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/"&gt;Etsy&lt;/a&gt; is every sellers goal. And even though I never expect to be featured in return by a seller I've showcased, it's an extra sweet treat when it happens. Like today. My &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=28122054"&gt;Sapphire Rose Ring&lt;/a&gt; was featured in this beautiful, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list.php?room_id=82600"&gt;September Stars&lt;/a&gt; treasury thanks to the whimsical artist, JooJoo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I recently discovered her charming shops while I was curating one of &lt;a href="http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/09/luck.html"&gt;my treasuries &lt;/a&gt;and I've been an admiring fan ever since. Her first shop, &lt;a href="http://joojoo.etsy.com/"&gt;JooJoo&lt;/a&gt;, contains delightful prints of her original paintings such as this &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=30205208"&gt;"tiny pink birdie" &lt;/a&gt;pictured above. Her second shop, &lt;a href="http://joojooland.etsy.com/"&gt;JooJooLand&lt;/a&gt;, ups the sweet factor a notch by taking her enchanting artwork into 3D with her hand sculpted jewelry pieces and miniature sculptures. The photographs of her products are also incredible works of art themselves and needless to say, they look wonderful in treasuries.&amp;nbsp; The bottom line, JooJoo makes me smile.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I know she will make you smile too, so enjoy her &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list.php?room_id=82600"&gt;September Stars&lt;/a&gt; treasury and be sure to visit her sweet shops (oh, and wish her a happy birthday too!).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Prints: &lt;a href="http://joojoo.etsy.com/"&gt;JooJoo.etsy.com&lt;/a&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Mini sculptures and jewelry: &lt;a href="http://joojooland.etsy.com/"&gt;JooJooLand.etsy.com&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Visit her blog: &lt;a href="http://www.joojoo.me/"&gt;www.JooJoo.me&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-964416302870027018?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/964416302870027018/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/09/smile-with-joojoo.html#comment-form' title='1 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/964416302870027018'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/964416302870027018'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/09/smile-with-joojoo.html' title='Smile with JooJoo'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SrVOpi8-WYI/AAAAAAAAAIo/y2yNc3QI1es/s72-c/joojoo.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>1</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-8527726093902096266</id><published>2009-09-16T13:40:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-09-16T23:20:42.126-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='treasury'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='design'/><title type='text'>Good Luck</title><content type='html'>&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SrHVM5VGPaI/AAAAAAAAAIQ/_4MvxtDRm8Y/s1600-h/34_goodluck.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SrHVM5VGPaI/AAAAAAAAAIQ/_4MvxtDRm8Y/s320/34_goodluck.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;Luck. Who couldn't use a little bit of it these days? Being born and raised in &lt;a href="http://www.lasvegas.com/"&gt;Las Vegas&lt;/a&gt; means growing up with all sorts of luck – both good and bad. There are lucky numbers, lucky charms, lucky pennies… And of course Lady Luck herself can be found in my hometown.&amp;nbsp; Luck is what fuels Vegas and the lure of fortune's offering is what makes people come back for more.&amp;nbsp; Including me. I may be heading there soon to visit family, but I'm not going to turn my nose at bringing a little good luck along.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Last night I luckily logged into Etsy right before a &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury_west.php"&gt;Treasury West&lt;/a&gt; spot became available. The first thought that popped into my head when I realized I had less than 16 minutes to come up with a design was, "What luck!" I then found this adorable golden kitty by &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=31019425"&gt;JooJooLand&lt;/a&gt;. It's beautifully photographed and the colors are warm like the approaching autumn season. The rest of the treasury was based around this cute little guy and everything seemed to fall right into place. How lucky for me! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So here you go… Here are the 12 very lucky sellers from my latest treasury, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list_west.php?room_id=68376"&gt;Good Luck&lt;/a&gt;, and their beautiful creations: &lt;a href="http://joojooland.etsy.com/"&gt;JooJooLand&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://shysiren.etsy.com/"&gt;ShySiren&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://cinnamonsticks.etsy.com/"&gt;cinnamonsticks&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://psandqs.etsy.com/"&gt;PsAndQs&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://latigomoon.etsy.com/"&gt;LatigoMoon&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://wildcardpottery.etsy.com/"&gt;wildcardpottery&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://shistudio.etsy.com/"&gt;ShiStudio&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://punkybunny300.etsy.com/"&gt;PunkyBunny300&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://f925.etsy.com/"&gt;F925&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://hybridtheory.etsy.com/"&gt;hybridtheory&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://leelinau.etsy.com/"&gt;Leelinau&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://joyfulspirit.etsy.com/"&gt;JoyfulSpirit&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The alternate items: &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=29441449"&gt;arleebee&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=30902886"&gt;YaneShops&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=11035460"&gt;catondarlingandmoore&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=29367054"&gt;sewlutionsbyamo&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-8527726093902096266?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/8527726093902096266/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/09/luck.html#comment-form' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/8527726093902096266'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/8527726093902096266'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/09/luck.html' title='Good Luck'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SrHVM5VGPaI/AAAAAAAAAIQ/_4MvxtDRm8Y/s72-c/34_goodluck.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-3604287634711327018</id><published>2009-09-11T16:43:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-09-12T07:50:47.365-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='promotion'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='shop help'/><title type='text'>Craftgawker</title><content type='html'>&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SqreYpl4gaI/AAAAAAAAAHw/5Ld6_pz_a14/s1600-h/craftgawker2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SqrfGwxQXJI/AAAAAAAAAH4/ABDO0WC05x4/s1600-h/Craftgawker_bluerose.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="246" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SqrfGwxQXJI/AAAAAAAAAH4/ABDO0WC05x4/s320/Craftgawker_bluerose.jpg" width="190" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;I recently discovered an amazing online showcase of handmade products called, Craftgawker. &lt;a href="http://craftgawker.com/"&gt;Craftgawker.com&lt;/a&gt; is a spin off from their wildly popular food site, &lt;a href="http://foodgawker.com/"&gt;Foodgawker.com&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;span style="font-size: x-small;"&gt;&lt;i&gt;(WARNING: Visiting Foodgawker will make you silly with drool, so be sure you are sitting far enough away from your keyboard and computer to avoid liquidy contact. This is for your own protection.)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Craftgawker is interesting. The site has a clean and simple, elegant design that reads almost like a high-end magazine or catalog. And that's because their submission based content has a fairly stringent acceptance criteria. Submissions are moderated and only well designed, well balanced and well photographed images are included. All items must have direct links to content about the product (Etsy, Artfire, Flickr, blogs, etc). &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Craftgawker not only allows a crafter to have another venue to showcase their handmade product, but the site also serves as an excellent source of inspiration and motivation to take better, well designed photographs – a very important part of having a handmade business. You may have noticed some appealing products down on the left hand side of this blog. Yes, that little girl would be me. My father made a big production out of taking me to see it for the first time in the theater and I remember getting all dressed up for the special event.&amp;nbsp; If you asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, without hesitation I would tell you, "Snow White." I'm sure the fact that I look very similar to Snow has nothing to do with it. Honest. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Flash forward to present day. I still love Snow White and her seven little friends. I still collect vintage and vintage looking memorabilia and best of all - I now have my very own mini-me, &lt;i&gt;er&lt;/i&gt;, I mean mini-Snow in my daughter.&amp;nbsp; Thankfully she loves her as much as I do (ok, I admit it, she might have been influenced just a &lt;i&gt;little bit&lt;/i&gt;) and just like me her first movie in the theater will be none other than - you guessed it - Snow White. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The movie comes to theaters about every 10 years so for us to be able to experience it on the big screen is incredible. To add to my excitement, it's playing at the very special Disney theater in Hollywood, &lt;a href="http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/el_capitan/"&gt;The El Capitan&lt;/a&gt;. The El Cap provides a live action pre-show before the movies with dancing Disney princesses and an elaborate, interactive exhibit after the movie. I’m in Snow heaven.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here's my latest &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list_west.php?room_id=67674"&gt;Treasury&lt;/a&gt; -- a tribute to the Fairest One of All – Etsy style! Coffee... If you read my last post about waking up before the roosters, then you know I need copious amounts of it to start my day. In fact, my wonderful husband is out on a java run as I type this. What a good man. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I love the way coffee smells, the way it tastes and they way it looks as the cream swirls around changing it from a dark brown to the perfect tan color. No lattes for me. Just a good, strong, fresh brew with cream only, please (preferably served in a large, white paper cup with a green logo on it.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So here are some sellers to start your day. The kiddo is sleeping. The husband is sleeping. Even the needy cat is snoozing away this morning. Yet here I am sitting on my computer. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have no real explanation for my early rising. I certainly wasn't trying to catch a worm - or a treasury for that matter. In my pre-coffee haze I sat down at my computer and to my surprise, I had 13 whole minutes before a treasury opened up. Even though my eyes were blurry and mind scrambled, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to curate even at 6:00 a.m.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SqPpUK3tSWI/AAAAAAAAAGw/D5UdeqswFoU/s1600-h/fox.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SqPpUK3tSWI/AAAAAAAAAGw/D5UdeqswFoU/s200/fox.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;So here it is… my early morning, pre-Venti-coffee-with-cream treasury. There is no theme or real rhyme or reason to it; I was just inspired by this sly little fox created by the whimsical artist, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=30428890"&gt;MissBrigette&lt;/a&gt; and worked the design around him. I'm pleased. You know the one – the email from a seller stating they have listed you in you in one of their Treasuries. As much as I love seeing my shop name in a &lt;a href="http://www.craftopolis.com/"&gt;Craftopolis&lt;/a&gt; list, I love getting a convo from a real, live person. And that's what happened today.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I missed the Treasury countdown this morning since I was off to the beach with my daughter to enjoy her very first visit with the sand and waves.&amp;nbsp; Now that we are home and she is zonked out from our fun-filled morning, I decided to check in on Etsy. To my delight, a convo from a seller named &lt;a href="http://shihar.etsy.com/"&gt;SHIHAR&lt;/a&gt; appeared in my inbox. Her Treasury, "&lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list.php?room_id=79897"&gt;Refresh Yourself&lt;/a&gt;," has a lovely assortment of breezy items that make me feel like I am still sitting under our umbrella making sand castles with my little one. She kindly included my &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=28935710"&gt;Hand Sculpted Silver Rose Pendant&lt;/a&gt; from my MiaRosina shop in her design and I'm honored to be in the mix.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here is her Treasury and I invite you to visit her beautiful, exotic clothing line from Israel. It's the FRONT PAGE again!!</title><content type='html'>Johnny and his pirate crew made the front page of Etsy! Woo hoo! It's my second FP in a week! Enjoy our scalawags one more time with this widget compliments of &lt;a href="http://www.craftcult.com/"&gt;Craftcult&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;script src="http://www.craftcult.com/vault_widget.js"&gt;&lt;/script&gt;&lt;script&gt; document.write (window.ccvault_widg.framehtml(4874,2,3,2,1,0,0)); &lt;/script&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I could kick myself for not realizing a little gem of knowledge that I know now. Alternates count. Up until just recently I would design my treasuries with only the 12 main boxes in mind. I thought the "alternate" side was just a helpful tool for your layout. No one really sees that side, so it doesn't count right? Wrong. It counts big time. Now I do a complete design by filling up all spaces with beautiful items that could easily jump into rotation if needed. &lt;a href="http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/yo-ho-yo-ho.html"&gt;Yo Ho, Yo Ho&lt;/a&gt; had two of the alternates make the front page because other items had sold out. So if you go to &lt;a href="http://www.craftopolis.com/"&gt;Craftopolis &lt;/a&gt;and you see that you've made it into a Treasury only to find that little "Alt" in the corner, remember there is still a good chance for your item. I'm also going to start listing the alternates in my seller links as well because they really are deserving.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Enjoy, mateys!&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-6955166136906114238?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/6955166136906114238/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/09/shiver-me-timbers-we-made-front-page.html#comment-form' title='3 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/6955166136906114238'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/6955166136906114238'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/09/shiver-me-timbers-we-made-front-page.html' title='Shiver me timbers! And did you know that in celebration of 40 spooky years the artist &lt;a href="http://www.shag.com/"&gt;Shag&lt;/a&gt;* put his retro flair on the commemorative artwork? The actress/Imagineer that portrayed the floating head was actually named Leota Toombs. The &lt;a href="http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/parks/attractions/detail?name=HauntedMansionAttractionPage"&gt;Haunted Mansion&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/parks/attractions/detail?name=PiratesOfTheCaribbeanAttractionPage&amp;amp;bhcp=1"&gt;Pirates of the Caribbean&lt;/a&gt; have always been my two favorite rides and last week we introduced them to my daughter for the first time. We contemplated whether or not this was a good idea since she's so young, but against better judgment we decided to give it a try. She would either love it like mommy or we'd be that screaming family running towards the emergency exits.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well friends, I'm happy to say she takes after me. She loved the rides so much that we bought a CD that day with all sorts of wonderful Disney songs on it. Now all she wants to listen to is the "pirate song" and the "singing ghosts." That's my girl.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So here you go… my &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list_west.php?room_id=66472"&gt;Yo Ho, Yo Ho&lt;/a&gt; treasury inspired by our recent visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. And let's not forget Johnny Depp… How amazing is that illustration by &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=13921166"&gt;EssenseofUs&lt;/a&gt;? And the pirate coat by &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5094877"&gt;damselinthisdress&lt;/a&gt;? My Friday nights used to consist of a ton of make up, ridiculously high heeled shoes and lots of loud music on a dance floor. It would take me at least a good hour just to get ready. What do I do now? It's an exciting night when a Treasury becomes available. If I can spend an hour cultivating the perfect list by browsing my favorite shops and discovering new artists, I'm a happy girl. It's even more exciting if I can do all of this before 11:00 pm. Oh, how times have changed. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury.php"&gt;Main Treasury&lt;/a&gt; became available last night and I thought I was going to miss it since we had our weekly family dinner at the in-laws, but I managed to make it home in time. I was even able put the kiddo to bed and jump online with 30 whole minutes to spare. So this is how I spent my evening and it's about as wild as I get these days. I even stayed up until midnight. The title is &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list.php?room_id=78832"&gt;Are You Ready&lt;/a&gt; and these sellers can spice up any Friday night. Are you ready? Enjoy!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/Spk9-kDxZ7I/AAAAAAAAAFg/5TIxuZfKBHw/s1600-h/27Ready.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/Spk9-kDxZ7I/AAAAAAAAAFg/5TIxuZfKBHw/s320/27Ready.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;Here are the artists that make up this bold design:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://mariska.etsy.com/"&gt;Mariska&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://goosegrease.etsy.com/"&gt;GooseGrease&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://moonlightaura.etsy.com/"&gt;MoonlightAura&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://lipsonrobotics.etsy.com/"&gt;LipsonRobotics&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://houseofhissy.etsy.com/"&gt;HouseofHissy&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://happyfamily.etsy.com/"&gt;HappyFamily&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://starletvintage.etsy.com/"&gt;StarletVintage&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://buttfreckle.etsy.com/"&gt;ButtFreckle&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://mariesvintage.etsy.com/"&gt;MariesVintage&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://thenightjar.etsy.com/"&gt;TheNightjar&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://harrietsimagination.etsy.com/"&gt;HarrietsImagination&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://evelynx.etsy.com/"&gt;EvelynX&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-7475875337055702832?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/7475875337055702832/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/are-you-ready.html#comment-form' title='2 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/7475875337055702832'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/7475875337055702832'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/are-you-ready.html' title='Are You Ready?'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/Spk9-kDxZ7I/AAAAAAAAAFg/5TIxuZfKBHw/s72-c/27Ready.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>2</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-5221328665429163980</id><published>2009-08-28T12:59:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-08-28T13:13:38.275-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='front page'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='treasury'/><title type='text'>My First FRONT PAGE Treasury!</title><content type='html'>&lt;script src="http://www.craftcult.com/vault_widget.js"&gt;&lt;/script&gt;&lt;script&gt; document.write (window.ccvault_widg.framehtml(4770,2,3,2,1,0,0)); &lt;/script&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm absolutely thrilled! I finally had a Treasury design make it to the front page of &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/"&gt;Etsy&lt;/a&gt;! There are hundreds of curated creations found in both the &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury.php?ref=fp_nav_treasury"&gt;Main Treasury&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury_west.php"&gt;Treasury West&lt;/a&gt; so to be chosen for the front page is an honor. The beautiful sellers who made up &lt;a href="http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/cork-you.html"&gt;CORK YOU&lt;/a&gt; deserve a big round of applause for having such incredible items to feature.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thanks to the kind comments left on the Cork You treasury, I was informed of being a front page winner. Otherwise I wouldn't have known since, of course, I missed it. And another big thank you&amp;nbsp; goes to &lt;a href="http://www.craftcult.com/"&gt;Craftcult&lt;/a&gt; for creating their super cool &lt;a href="http://craftcult.com/vault_list.php?list=4770&amp;amp;page=&amp;amp;fm=0&amp;amp;esn=&amp;amp;m=8&amp;amp;d=0&amp;amp;st=1&amp;amp;pagenum=2"&gt;Vault&lt;/a&gt; program that allowed me to see the glory and snag this neat widget to display here.&amp;nbsp; Enjoy!&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-5221328665429163980?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/5221328665429163980/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/my-first-front-page-treasury.html#comment-form' title='1 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/5221328665429163980'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/5221328665429163980'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/my-first-front-page-treasury.html' title='My First FRONT PAGE Treasury!'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><thr:total>1</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-4258750650282581362</id><published>2009-08-27T23:56:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-08-28T13:10:08.635-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='shop help'/><title type='text'>Cr8tivity</title><content type='html'>&lt;a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SpeAU3YJzOI/AAAAAAAAAFQ/DZ-4__r1KNA/s1600-h/cre8tivity.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="146" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SpeAU3YJzOI/AAAAAAAAAFQ/DZ-4__r1KNA/s200/cre8tivity.jpg" width="259" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;Who couldn't use a little help with their Etsy shop? Thankfully there are several amazing sites out there to lend a hand. There's &lt;a href="http://www.craftopolis.com/"&gt;Craftopolis&lt;/a&gt; and the awesome Treasure Clock and Treasure Hunt features that make snagging Treasuries a breeze. There's also &lt;a href="http://www.craftcult.com/"&gt;Craftcult&lt;/a&gt; and their Heart-o-Matic that shows you how many hearts you have, how many items are loved by viewers and other fun stats about your shop.&amp;nbsp; And now there's a new Etsy tool on the scene - &lt;a href="http://cr8tivity.com/"&gt;Cr8tivity&lt;/a&gt;.com.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Developed by a fellow Etsy artist, &lt;a href="http://tronahue.etsy.com/"&gt;tronaHUE&lt;/a&gt;, Cr8tivity displays stats on your shop such as who hearts you, if they are a seller, when they made you a favorite and where they are located. Pretty neat. Like Craftopolis, there is a breakdown of your hearted items, however Cr8tivity also allows you to Twitter the information, jump directly to the item on Etsy or post a link on Facebook.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are also handy-dandy pie charts to break down your shop's statistics and another fun feature called Shop Helpers that contains a downloadable Excel file designed to help manage your store. Another Helper feature in the works is a "product flyer maker" to assist you in creating instant marketing tools to promote your shop.&amp;nbsp; Very, very cool.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Check it out. Bookmark it and if you feel the work is beneficial drop a little donation their way to keep the creativity flowing. It's shops like tronaHUE that help everyone in the Etsy community.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://tronahue.etsy.com/"&gt;tronaHUE.etsy.com&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.tronahue.com/"&gt;www.tronahue.com &lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-4258750650282581362?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/4258750650282581362/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/cr8tivity.html#comment-form' title='2 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/4258750650282581362'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/4258750650282581362'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/cr8tivity.html' title='Cr8tivity'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SpeAU3YJzOI/AAAAAAAAAFQ/DZ-4__r1KNA/s72-c/cre8tivity.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>2</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-5300833682467251703</id><published>2009-08-26T19:08:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-08-26T19:26:22.120-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='treasury'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='design'/><title type='text'>Cork You</title><content type='html'>&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SpXqLhmAWEI/AAAAAAAAAFA/OYtwaA65xYc/s1600-h/26CorkYou.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SpXqLhmAWEI/AAAAAAAAAFA/OYtwaA65xYc/s320/26CorkYou.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;There is something so organic and interesting about cork. Its earthy, old world feel combined with a spongy texture makes it the perfect medium to create a wide range of unusual projects. And that's just what I've discovered in my latest &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list_west.php?room_id=66023"&gt;Treasury&lt;/a&gt; design. From lamp covers to desk organizers to necklaces, cork is not just for wine bottles anymore.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Did you know that cork:&lt;br /&gt;•&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Is environmentally friendly?&lt;br /&gt;•&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Is impermeable?&lt;br /&gt;•&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Is fire resistant?&lt;br /&gt;•&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Is created out of dead cells on a cork oak tree?&lt;br /&gt;•&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Is good for insulation for both noise and temperature?&lt;br /&gt;•&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Was found in Egyptian tombs?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pretty cool stuff. And here are the pretty cool Etsy sellers featured in my Treasury who made some neat things out of it: &lt;a href="http://kamlampcompany.etsy.com/"&gt;KamLampCompany&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5923386"&gt;AmoreVivo&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=1802"&gt;TheSmallObject&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://uncorked.etsy.com/"&gt;Uncorked&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://amoronia.etsy.com/"&gt;Amoronia&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://thecrumpetcloset.etsy.com/"&gt;TheCrumpetCloset&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://sweetshorn.etsy.com/"&gt;SweetsHorn&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://paintedpearstudio.etsy.com/"&gt;PaintedPearStudio&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6193778"&gt;Makalewakan&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://annacote.etsy.com/"&gt;Annacote&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://sunnydayartandcraft.etsy.com/"&gt;SunnyDayArtandCraft&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://erdedesigns.etsy.com/"&gt;ErdeDesigns&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;i&gt;To learn more about the amazing properties of cork, visit &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cork_%28material%29"&gt;Wikipedia &lt;/a&gt;and &lt;a href="http://www.answers.com/topic/cork"&gt;About.com&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-5300833682467251703?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/5300833682467251703/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/cork-you.html#comment-form' title='4 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/5300833682467251703'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/5300833682467251703'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/cork-you.html' title='Cork You'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SpXqLhmAWEI/AAAAAAAAAFA/OYtwaA65xYc/s72-c/26CorkYou.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>4</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-4153112436269776008</id><published>2009-08-21T15:58:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-08-22T09:53:53.305-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='treasury'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='featured'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='Mia Rosina'/><title type='text'>Oh So Blue Today…</title><content type='html'>&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/So8m3vXZO3I/AAAAAAAAAEI/kruTNXoy54Y/s1600-h/MR_bluesky.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 232px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/So8m3vXZO3I/AAAAAAAAAEI/kruTNXoy54Y/s320/MR_bluesky.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5372555619525540722" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.craftopolis.com/"&gt;Craftopolis&lt;/a&gt; is so cool. In addition to their &lt;a href="http://www.craftopolis.com/index.php?com=tc&amp;amp;user="&gt;Treasury Clock&lt;/a&gt; that counts down to the magical number 333 for you, they also have this very neat tool to let you know if your shop has been featured in a Treasury called &lt;a href="http://www.craftopolis.com/index.php?com=th&amp;amp;user="&gt;Treasure Hunt&lt;/a&gt;. Before Craftopolis came on the scene you had to either a) hope the curator would email you or b) scroll through page after page after page searching for a little star next to a Treasury title. Watching those color wheels spin around and around and around can steal the excitement out of it for sure.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today I went to Craftopolis to check in on the Treasury Clock. Damn… I missed it. Ah well… I then typed in my shop name and low and behold a lovely title of "When the Stars Go Blue" popped up. Ding-ding-ding, I'm a winner! Thank you, &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5433874"&gt;AllysAttic&lt;/a&gt; for including my Blue Rose ring in your dreamy Treasury.&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-4153112436269776008?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/4153112436269776008/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/oh-so-blue-today.html#comment-form' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/4153112436269776008'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/4153112436269776008'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/oh-so-blue-today.html' title='Oh So Blue Today…'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/So8m3vXZO3I/AAAAAAAAAEI/kruTNXoy54Y/s72-c/MR_bluesky.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-1190161100480399413</id><published>2009-08-20T20:52:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-08-21T09:11:33.027-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Fractured Fairy Tales</title><content type='html'>&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/So4hqy02ZEI/AAAAAAAAADw/exHa7I2eBT0/s1600-h/1fracturedFairytales_treasury1.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/So4hqy02ZEI/AAAAAAAAADw/exHa7I2eBT0/s320/1fracturedFairytales_treasury1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5372268424581243970" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;Ahh… the ever elusive &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/treasury.php?ref=fp_nav_treasury"&gt;Treasury&lt;/a&gt;. I remember the excitement I felt when I finally "snagged" my very first one. It was such a nervous thrill to see that little box finally appear asking me to type the title of my design. That magical number – 333 – always seemed to be more of a myth than a reality. I'm not going to attempt to explain how the Etsy Treasury structure works, but you can read all about it &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/storque/how-to/how-to-make-a-treasury-the-nuts-and-bolts-688/"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;. I will say that it's a brilliant system that promotes creativity, design and honoring your fellow Etsy artisan's fine work. And once you create one they become very addictive.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There actually &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;is &lt;/span&gt;a method to determining when Treasuries will become available. All it takes is a little math and some prep time and you're as good as there. Or you can check this really handy website, &lt;a href="http://www.craftopolis.com/"&gt;Craftopolis&lt;/a&gt;, that has a Treasury Clock to do the work for you. To read more on Treasuries, visit this &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/storque/etsy-news/etsys-treasury-finding-focus-3508/"&gt;Storque article&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here is my very first Treasury titled "Fractured Fairy Tales." I have since curated about 30 different treasuries and this one will always be my favorite.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/So4bPiAWurI/AAAAAAAAADg/X-bNj55kNTE/s1600-h/1fracturedFairytales_treasury1.jpg"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-1190161100480399413?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/1190161100480399413/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/fractured-fairy-tales.html#comment-form' title='1 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/1190161100480399413'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/1190161100480399413'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/fractured-fairy-tales.html' title='Fractured Fairy Tales'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/So4hqy02ZEI/AAAAAAAAADw/exHa7I2eBT0/s72-c/1fracturedFairytales_treasury1.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>1</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-1942375917477489767</id><published>2009-08-18T21:48:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-08-18T22:07:18.536-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='etsy seller'/><title type='text'>Go Hogg Wild!</title><content type='html'>&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SouFsHTKZbI/AAAAAAAAADY/2hBicyIGOhw/s1600-h/hoggwash.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 226px; height: 137px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SouFsHTKZbI/AAAAAAAAADY/2hBicyIGOhw/s320/hoggwash.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5371533973489608114" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;There are so many reasons I love being a part of &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/"&gt;Etsy&lt;/a&gt;. I love having a place to sell my creations, but I also love shopping in this amazing community of artists. Unlike shopping at a mall or buying factory generated goods, through Etsy you can put a voice to the person you are buying from. You are one step away from the designer, one step away from their personal story, one step away from their creativity.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Just recently I had the pleasure of meeting another Etsy shop owner who opened her store around the same time I launched &lt;a href="http://www.miarosina.com/"&gt;MiaRosina&lt;/a&gt;. I saw her cute icon of a little pig as I was scrolling through Etsy's &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/pounce.php?ref=fp_nav_pounce"&gt;Pounce&lt;/a&gt; search engine of undiscovered shops (Pounce has an "undiscovered" and "just sold" search option). I enjoyed her witty writing and I loved the story behind the name of her store, a bath and body shop called &lt;a href="http://hoggwash.etsy.com/"&gt;Hoggwash&lt;/a&gt; named appropriately after her last name – Hogg. I just had to order something from this little gem of a boutique. I was her first customer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The package quickly arrived in the mail. She included a sweet, handwritten note and an extra bottle of lovely perfume oil for being customer #1. You will not get that kind of extra special, personal attention from any retail store. I know how she felt that day when her Etsy email told her she had a sale. It's an incredible sensation knowing that someone out there liked your product enough to click the "Commit to Buy" button to purchase your item. I know because the next day I also had my first sale. I hope for success for my new Etsy friend and I look forward to swapping stories with her as we continue on this journey. Yet another reason to love Etsy…&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Visit the Hoggwash shop: &lt;a href="http://hoggwash.etsy.com/"&gt;Hoggwash.etsy.com&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-1942375917477489767?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/1942375917477489767/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/go-hogg-wild.html#comment-form' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/1942375917477489767'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/1942375917477489767'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/go-hogg-wild.html' title='Go Hogg Wild!'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SouFsHTKZbI/AAAAAAAAADY/2hBicyIGOhw/s72-c/hoggwash.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-5767114157126098871</id><published>2009-08-17T14:07:00.001-07:00</published><updated>2009-08-22T15:55:27.572-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='OnceTraveled'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='treasury'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='featured'/><title type='text'>Walk Like an Egyptian</title><content type='html'>&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SpB3SVaIFjI/AAAAAAAAAE4/nmz6lmqkvvg/s1600-h/OT_Egypt.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SpB3SVaIFjI/AAAAAAAAAE4/nmz6lmqkvvg/s320/OT_Egypt.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;What a great day! I woke up to find that two rose rings were sold from my &lt;a href="http://www.miarosina.etsy.com/"&gt;MiaRosina&lt;/a&gt; shop. Then a &lt;a href="http://oncetraveled.etsy.com/"&gt;OnceTraveled&lt;/a&gt; customer left really wonderful feedback about my &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=18416958"&gt;Journey Bottle Pendants&lt;/a&gt;. And if that wasn't enough, this afternoon I discovered that my &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=22223313"&gt;Pharaoh pendant&lt;/a&gt; was featured in an Egyptian themed Treasury created by the lovely shop &lt;a href="http://deelights.etsy.com/"&gt;DeeLights&lt;/a&gt;!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The other Etsy artists included in this line up are really amazing. I'm in awe of the shop &lt;a href="http://largechess.etsy.com/"&gt;LargeChess&lt;/a&gt; who creates made to order chess pieces in extra large sizes. The detail is incredible and the idea of two-foot tall royal chess characters filling a landscaped backyard is decadently magnificent. I don't know who could pull off a scene like that, but it certainly would be a site to see. Other artists such as &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=10544131"&gt;LancErika&lt;/a&gt; and her beautiful painting of the goddess Isis, and &lt;a href="http://dariadesign.etsy.com/"&gt;DariaDesign&lt;/a&gt;'s hand-painted boxes have now been "hearted" and added to my Favorites list. I love Treasuries...&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-5767114157126098871?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/5767114157126098871/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/walk-like-egyptian.html#comment-form' title='1 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/5767114157126098871'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/5767114157126098871'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/walk-like-egyptian.html' title='Walk Like an Egyptian'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media='http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/' url='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SpB3SVaIFjI/AAAAAAAAAE4/nmz6lmqkvvg/s72-c/OT_Egypt.jpg' height='72' width='72'/><thr:total>1</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-4998380171306668089</id><published>2009-08-15T23:06:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-08-28T13:19:09.343-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='Mia Rosina'/><title type='text'>MiaRosina.com Promo Video</title><content type='html'>&lt;script src="http://widgets.clearspring.com/o/46928cc51133af17/4a87a1fa209497eb/46928cc51133af17/de664fde/-cpid/4820c32332236018/-/-/-EMH/240/-EMW/432/widget.js" type="text/javascript"&gt;&lt;/script&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7583138261213622819-4998380171306668089?l=miarosina.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/feeds/4998380171306668089/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/blog-post.html#comment-form' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/4998380171306668089'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7583138261213622819/posts/default/4998380171306668089'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://miarosina.blogspot.com/2009/08/blog-post.html' title='MiaRosina.com Promo Video'/><author><name>Mia Rosina</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/11421235130038507723</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='31' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7gYc0iwKUtc/SomF_ocqWiI/AAAAAAAAACQ/yRyhrJHNcFM/S220/avatar_small.jpg'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7583138261213622819.post-5378171155056047471</id><published>2009-08-14T21:34:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-08-16T00:04:00.236-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='treasury'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='featured'/><title type='text'>Featured in TWO Treasuries!</title><content type='html'>I'm a Treasury addict. I love discovering new shops, beautiful items and creating a design with incredible findings. It's a really fun way to be creative while tipping your hat to other hard working Etsy artisans. Being the curator is also a great way to get your shop and name out there and earn you a bit of karma points with hopes that one day the favor will be returned to you. And today it has.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;MiaRosina has been up for just a week and my &lt;a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=28296279"&gt;Red Rose Ring&lt;/a&gt; has been featured in not one, but two Treasuries.
